Feijoa recipe 3

FEIJOA COMPOTE

30 medium or 40 small feijoas

4 tablespoons runny honey

2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger

juice of 1 lemon

 

Scoop our feijoa flesh and place in a saucepan with the honey, ginger and lemon juice.  Bring to the boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Adjust honey, ginger and lemon to your taste.

Serve with cereal for breakfast or over icecream for dessert.
